A good suit is always on my mind.
Almost every runway proudly features one and almost every fashionista has at least one in her capsule-wardrobe.
It’s unisex, it’s elegant, it’s always current and all-sorts-of-situations-appropriate, as it will never look out of place whether you are at the office, with a pair of kitten heels and a gorgeous monochrome hijab, or for a night out with a dash or red lipstick, a silky cami under your blazer and a pair of killer heels.
It just always works.
This season we are eclectically taking a little bit of this and a little bit of that to combine the best of both worlds in modest fashion terms, and rock our power suits, to introduce a fresh, revolutionary approach to power-dressing.
The trend is now is now more fluid than ever, with bloggers, influencers and designers embracing the style, with innovative materials, luxurious textures and relaxed silhouettes to embrace comfort, modesty and style, like never before!
A long blazer in timeless black, no matter your sense of style, will always look flattering and add a layer of sophistication to your outfit effortlessly. A pair of peg leg trousers in the same shade will make its way to your weekday wardrobe.
Monochrome suits, always simple and clean but never boring, as we add depth and dimension with lovely textures and multiple layers, like a super sleek and modern logo long-sleeved tee, a black soft scarf and silver jewellery to break the monotony, it’s now the definition of elegance and the simple solution to those day when we have a closet full of nothing to wear.
When the mood and the occasion call for something more vibrant and unique think red! Undeniably fiery and fierce, it’s all about the attitude! Either with a white crisp shirt to enhance the elegant vibes or with a relaxed velvet polo neck top and sneakers to make it casually cool, this is the piece that will turn heads every single time.
And when you are feeling extra creative, don’t hesitate to mix and match! Take your black trousers to the next fashion level with a red blazer and vice versa- your red trousers toned down with a black longline blazer -anything goes.
This is the season to unapologetically wear our suits every day and feel more empowered than ever!
How are you going to wear yours?
